Love Equates Death

Love is the deliverer of the truth
The destroyer of the false
Love brings in the new
And erases the teary streaks of the old
Love lets you stand tall even when surrounded by the dead
Pushes you to not give up on what you would rather have instead
Of that life, those problems, that loneliness and those doubts
Love is that mountain of truth
Love lets you find out who you are
If it isn't love, then you ask yourself
"Should I fight for this?"
How strange
How so confusingly filled with understandable foolishness
But, love brings in life
So, it is impossible to be caught dead in love
Or, maybe these words only speak for me
Maybe my eyes are closed or maybe I truly see
Though whichever it maybe
I'd rather face death than live like I am sheltered in life inside of a closed casket
Love equates death
Not loving equates living in torment
